With having a new baby and renting a small house, my husband and I decided it was time to take advantage of the low interest rates and become first time homeowners. I contacted Lisa and let her know that we were interested in finding a Realtor. Lisa asked up some great questions so that she could have the information together when speaking with the prospective Realtors. We had our meeting with the Realtor from our area and felt it was a great fit. During the time we were looking at homes, Lisa would call or email often to see how things were going. During this time, I had many questions and Lisa was always sohelpful to answer them. She also kept in close contact with our Realtor. We found our home and closed within a month and a half! Lisa was there every step of the way. If it was just calling to see how things were going or to help with questions we had, she was always there to help. I had a brainstorm idea one Spring day last year that I would sell my condo that I really loved and move to Delaware with my son, so we could be closer to family. Single parenting will make you come up with brainstorm ideas like that :-) Anyway, I had thought it all out, at least in theory. I'd use the proceeds to relocate, get settled and have some funds to live while building my home-based business. Like I said, in theory, this all sounded good. Piece of cake... nothing to it... should be a cinch. For someone who knows a little bit about selling homes, maybe, but I was TOTALLY clueless. So how does a totally clueless female with a brainstorm idea go about implementing said idea? She calls on the experts, in this case Lisa Runyan, and bombards her with questions. Lisa answered my questions, asked me some questions, got right on it and referred me to a realtor in my area whom, after she spoke with him,(she referred me to a few) KNEW it would be the best fit for me and my clueless self :-) She was right!!! Lisa held my hand throughout the process with her timely follow up and availability to answer all my questions. I'd call and say, "Brian said this and this...Is that right? Normal? Conventional?? Do I really NEED to clean my condo? :-) Lisa took all my questions seriously, no matter how insignificant they might have seemed. Her professional knowledge, followup and availability made my brainstorm idea less daunting and turn it into a reality. Kudos to you Lisa Runyan for a job well done. When I decide to settle here and need to buy a house, I'll be coming right back to the Runyan team (since I'm as clueless about buying as I was selling).

After looking at several houses over a course of a weekend, my husband and I went back to California disappointed in not finding the right house. We had sat down with the Runyan Team and came up with a list of our Top 5 houses. Although all of the houses were solid choices each one had something that wasn't quite right. In desperation, my husband and I made a sort of rash decision and had decided to write an offer on one of our Top 5 Picks. Steve put the pencil to it and pulled the comps. Then he called us back and told us that it just wasn't right. The comps in the area didn't pull and based on Steve's advice we didn't put an offer on the house. 1-week later, we found the perfect home in the perfect location that had everything.
